BMW E Series Low Line seat adapter
CAN bus emulator for BMW E-series Low Line seats, including E90, where the passenger seat has the small heating unit. Runs heating at three levels and outputs the indicator signal.

open full size The BMW E Series Low Line seat adapter is designed for correct seat operation (Low Line - where the passenger seat has a "small" heating unit).
Has inputs to run heating at three power levels.
Also has outputs for heating indication.
The adapter has
LED2 RED, LED3 ORANGE, LED1 BLUE status LEDs for indicating operating modes.
The adapter connects to the CAN bus of the BMW driver seat.
Has a seat heating test mode.
Orange LED
Flashes 10 times - CAN bus connection error.
Lights steadily if there is a connection.
DH IND, PH IND outputs for the seat heating indicators.
By default the output is +12V; the output polarity can be changed with jumpers.
When heating is on, a signal appears on the corresponding wire.
When the heating / ventilation level changes, the signal pulses ("blinks") according to heating level 1-3 and then stays on.
