BMW F Series LIN - NISSAN seat adapter
CAN bus emulator for BMW F-series seats in another car: the stock BMW memory and massage buttons work (over the LIN bus), and a Nissan joystick controls heating and ventilation at three levels.

open full size The BMW F Series seat adapter is designed for correct seat operation, has inputs to run massage; heating, ventilation at three power levels.
Works with the stock BMW memory / massage buttons
And the Nissan heating / ventilation joystick.
The adapter has
LED2 RED, LED3 ORANGE, LED1 BLUE status LEDs for indicating operating modes.
The adapter connects to the BMW seat CAN bus.
Orange LED
Flashes 10 times - CAN bus connection error
DH IND, PH IND, DV IND, PV IND outputs for the seat heating / ventilation indicators.
By default the output is +12V; the output polarity can be changed with jumpers.
When heating / ventilation is on, a signal appears on the corresponding wire.
The seats must be connected as left-hand drive (see the diagrams below)
