BMW engines (~1998~2005) into cars not equipped with a CAN bus. It emulates all necessary modules for the correct operation of the engine and automatic transmission. (instrument cluster, ABS, transfer case, etc.)
Approximate compatibility list of DME/DDE by chassis types:
- E39
- E38
- E53
- E46
BAT(+) - constant power supply from the battery
GND - ground
CAN H / CAN L - CAN bus
Reverse(-) (<200mA) - analog reverse gear output to negative
SPD - analog speed output for DME/DDE
