open full size The transfer case adapter lets you engage L4 low range when there are engine, automatic transmission or ABS faults in Toyota / Lexus vehicles.
Low range engages only if the transfer case itself is working.
The adapter is connected inline in the CAN bus going to the transfer case unit (4WD Control ECU).
The adapter automatically stops passing errors to the transfer case unit (ABS, Check Engine).
Analog input “N” forcibly permits engaging low range. (It can be wired to a separate button, or used to run a TLC200 transfer case in another vehicle)
!!! When using it, make sure the transmission is in neutral and the vehicle is stopped !!!
